Episode 96: Informed Jury

NH State Representative Lars Christiansen and Former NH State Representative Dick Marple join Denis and Lydia to discuss fully-informed juries and jury nullification (the right of jurors to judge both the facts of the case, and the morality of the law itself). Most people called to jury duty are unaware that they have this right; Rep. Christiansen's bill HB1347 would ensure jurors are instructed accordingly. Rep. Marple is the NH contact for the Fully-Informed Jury Association. If you feel that people serving on juries have a right to know their rights, call your NH State Representatives and let them know!
